Bachelor of Arts (BA) is a 3 years ( 6 Semesters ) undergraduate degree course that focuses on various disciplines like English, History, Political Science, Geography , Sociology , Hindi etc. A bachelor’s degree in the arts provides more diverse career opportunities than a bachelor’s degree in science or commerce. Unlike, BSc, BBA, or BCom which concentrates on a specific discipline, a Bachelor of Arts concentrates on a broad range of concepts. Aspirants with a BA degree have the option of working in healthcare, Management, business, Finance, Commerce, or any other field. Practical: Prepare a profile of any School (Class 6th – 12th) – Government / Aided / Private

Semester 3

• Philosophical-Sociological-Political-Economic Perspectives of Education
Practical: Review a book written by prominent educational thinkers included in the course.

Semester 4

• Psychological Perspectives of Education
Practical: Case study of a Special Child

Semester 5

• Educational Assessment & Educational Statistics
• Administration and Interpretation of Score of a psychological test (Achievement / Intelligence / Personality / Aptitude).
• Collection of Data related to Education, application of suitable statistical methods, analysis and interpretation of result.
• OR Visit to any type of University: A. It’s profile preparation. B. Report on its administrative structure.

Semester 6

• Educational Administration and Management & Milestones and New Dimensions of Indian Education
• Visit to an Anganwadi Centre and report preparation.
• Write and submit an article on any trending Socio-Cultural Environmental Issue.
• Visit any Distance Education center. Interview its administrator and five students. Compare the Distance Education and Regular Education and prepare report.
• OR For Understanding Social disadvantages, Interview a working child / a child who has experienced natural calamity or war or Terrorist Attack / Orphan / Urban or rural poor child.
